4 Home Remedies for Loose Motion

If the problem is severe, you can consult a doctor but loose motion can also be treated with home remedies such as:

Turmeric

Half a teaspoon of turmeric can be mixed with warm water and swallowed quickly. One teaspoon of turmeric can be mixed with yogurt and ingested.

Mustard Seeds

Quarter teaspoon of mustard seeds can be soaked in a tablespoon of water for one hour. The water can be retained and ingested with this process being repeated 2-3 times in a day.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate seeds can be eaten or the juice can be ingested. If you have pomegranate tree at your place you can boiled its leaves in water and can take the concoction thrice a day.

Lemon Juice 

Lime or lemon juice can be taken to flush out the toxins from the body. The juice can be mixed with water, salt and sugar.

Other Home Remedies for Diarrhea or Loose Motion

There are other home remedies for diarrhea or loose motion such as sago, honey, water, leaves of fenugreek (Venthayam), dry ginger powder, and buttermilk. Remember to hydrate your body very well after a bout of loose motion to restore the lost water content. Help your digestive system to recuperate with semi solid or liquid foods. Eat foods that are rich in starch and avoid milk products except for butter milk.
