People who have diabetes have more chances of developing a cardiovascular disease. With other factors involved, diabetics run the risk of an early death coupled with obesity, high blood pressure, smoking and high cholesterol.

Playing a major role as a risk factor, stress has been associated with strokes, coronary heart diseases and blood pressure. People who are undergoing stress have been known to overdo eating, smoking and react abnormally to situations.
(8) Aim for the Perfect Weight
With obesity being highly prevalent everywhere, people and children who tend to eat rich and fattening food are at risk. Make sure that your Body Mass Index (BMI) is in sync with the expected weight. Obesity brings on the risk of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases which can be reduced with good nutrition and exercise.
(9) Experience Physical Exercise
One of the best things to do is to indulge in physical exercise to bring the body weight down. Exercising every day lowers cholesterol besides bringing down blood pressure and weight. It is said that 30 minutes of exercise for 30 days does a wealth of good.
(10) Stop Smoking
Smoking is not only injurious to health but also brings about chronic heart disease, strokes and heart attacks. If you or any member of your family smokes do your best to quit. It’s tough to stop smoking but it’s worthwhile.
