  1. Hair Oil Massage

You can reduce hair fall with a great hair oil massage. Choose your favorite oil from an array of sesame oil, castor oil, coconut or olive oil. Add a few drops of rosemary essential oil to the base oil which you have chosen and massage on to the scalp once a week. This will enhance the follicles and strengthen hair growth besides increasing blood flow and conditioning the scalp. A hair oil massage reduces stress and promotes relaxation.

2.    Aloe Vera

Containing alkalizing properties and enzymes, Aloe Vera juice or gel can be applied to the scalp 3-4 times a week. The hair’s pH level will be increased including reducing of scalp redness, inflammation, dandruff and itching. Aloe Vera adds strength and luster to the hair. You can also drink a tablespoon of Aloe Vera juice every day on an empty stomach to promote hair growth.

3. Indian Gooseberry or Amla

Known for its magical properties, the Indian gooseberry or amla as it is more popularly known is very rich in Vitamin C. If there is a deficiency of Vitamin C in the body, hair fall results. Amla or the Indian gooseberry juice or powder offers exfoliating, antioxidant and antibacterial properties which promote a healthy scalp and good hair growth besides offering many benefits for the body.

4. Coconut

Coconut promotes luxuriant hair growth besides conditioning the scalp and preventing hair fall. Coconut contains proteins, essential fats and minerals which prevent hair fall. With its properties of iron and potassium, coconut oil or milk reduces breakage of hair and promotes hair growth.

5. Onion 

Being a great source of sulphur which increases collagen and hair growth, onion juice can be used on the scalp twice a week which helps in preventing hair fall.
