Piles or hemorrhoids can cause pain that may at times become unbearable. Generally the lesser the degree of piles, there is literally less pain. But as the grade of the piles moves up, pain might begin to manifest and become moderately unbearable. Is there home remedies for such pain? Yes, there are. Let us see

Home Remedies For Piles Can Give Temporary Relief

(1) Sitz Bath – This is by far the best and most recommended home remedy any physician would give. A specialized sitz bath utensil is available in the medical store. This utensil-like thing can be placed on top of the commode. Baking soda or vinegar can be mixed in warm water and this warm water can be pored into the sitz bath utensil. A  you have to do is to sit in this warm water for 10-15 minutes. This can give immense relief. You can repeat it several times to get the pain subside. It is recommended to use baking soda without aluminum. In case you are not comfortable with baking soda, normal warm water will also do the magic.

(2) Topical Application of Baking Soda – Baking soda as such has some medical application. A small amount of baking soda can be taken and be applied on the piles area. This can give some relief.

(3) Aloe Vera Gel – It is said that aloe vera gel has medicinal properties. A little amount of aloe vera gel can be removed the succulent leaf of the plant and it can be mashed by hand before applying to the inflamed piles area.

(4) Ice Pack – Ice pack is found to be good for any kind of swelling. You can apply ice topically to the inflamed piles area to ease out the pain.

Apart from these home remedies, it is highly recommended that food that are fiber-filled like greens are said to ease the bowel movement greatly. When the bowel movement is regularized then the impact on the piles swelling / inflammation is greatly reduced. This is because constipation is the number one reason why piles should occur in the first place. Constipation increases the risk because people who are constipated tend to put more pressure to push out the stools. This increased pressure can impact the already present piles.
